Meet Our Caring Providers
Amber Dunlap-Ott, CNP
Family Medicine Reproductive Health New Patient Appointments Available for Persons 12 & Older Amber has been in the nursing field since 2004, after graduating with her Associate Degree in Nursing from Belmont Technical College. After completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ohio University in 2012, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing at Malone University and became a certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2016. Her background includes medical-surgical nursing, family practice, and 18 years of emergency medicine.
Amber grew up in Harrisville, Ohio. Through her college education, she continued to work and raise her children. She and her husband, Tom, enjoy traveling, the Cleveland Browns, and spending quality time with their children. Amber is excited to serve local residents at the health department. |
Dr. Daniel Blumer, D.O.
Family Medicine Appointments Available: Thursday Afternoons New Patient Appointments Available for Persons 12 & Older Dr. Daniel Blumer graduated from Kirksville Medical School in Kirksville, Missouri, followed by an internship with Doctor’s Hospital in Stark County Ohio. He began practicing medicine in 1981, with an emphasis on family medicine. Dr. Blumer has been a healthcare provider at the Tuscarawas County Health Department since 1986 and has served as the Medical Director since 2004.
Dr. Blumer was born in Detroit, Michigan, but now resides in Jackson Township, Ohio. His father was also a family physician, so he grew up in an environment rich with medical knowledge. This background helped push him into the field of medicine and he has carried on the family tradition. In his down time, Dr. Blumer enjoys searching for antique arcade items and advertising collectibles. |
