Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP)
Tuscarawas County Health Department receives grant money from the Ohio Department of Health to aid in County emergency preparedness. Funding goes towards the following initiatives:
TCHD co-chairs the Tuscarawas County Community Organizations Assisting in Disasters (COAD) with the Tuscarawas County Emergency Management Agency. This group works to ensure all residents and visitors in Tuscarawas County are prepared for public health emergencies and/or natural disasters. Meetings are held quarterly.
