Safe Beginnings Program
If you or someone you love is in need of safety items for a baby or young child, we can provide help through our Safe Beginnings Program.
Because this equipment is considered necessary for the safety of infants and young children, Safe Beginnings is considered an essential program during this time. For the protection of everyone involved, our Health Education team will provide parent education via phone and schedule curbside equipment pick up.
Families that are eligible for this program must have an income level within 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. For example, a family of four (including an unborn child) with a gross income at or below $47,638 annually, or $3,970 monthly would qualify.
If you are interested in the Safe Beginnings program, please call the Tuscarawas County Health Department at 330-343-5555 x 182 or x 111. You can also email Kelly Snyder at ksnyder@tchdnow.org.
This program is made possible thanks to a grant from the Ohio Children's Trust Fund.
