Employee Testimonials:
“Cody always brightens my days when he comes walking up to me with a toy or popping by Katie's office to say hello. Cody is very beneficial to TCHD and its staff. Cody provides a safe and calming environment for staff and the Tuscarawas County residents as well. TCHD is a much better place with Cody here.” - Erica, Prevention Services
“Cody benefits my day by being a gentle, stabilizing force that always brightens my mood. Just seeing him can evoke sensations of happiness and calmness. I see him in the morning, and he’s so happy to be here all the time. Cody is just a catalyst for an amazing day.” - Alex, Environmental Health
“He just makes me happy. He’s always peppy. As soon as you walk in the hallway, he’s right at the door wanting love.” - Sarah, WIC
“Each morning we have a routine when Cody gets here. He likes to stop at my office area and get his little treats. When he sees me, what he associates with me is his treats. I enjoy that because I myself have three dogs, so I like having that interaction with him almost every morning.” -Sharon, Health Information Services
“Cody is a special dog. He’s a great stress reliever. Matter of fact, I liked Cody so much when I met him, about six months later I went and got a dog from the next litter after him. So, I have his sister at the house, and I absolutely adore her as well. He’s just great to have around.” - Darrel, Administrative Services
“He’s always a good sport about getting his picture taken, and for all different holidays. I think everyone just enjoys seeing him throughout the day and getting to pet him. He gets a lot of extra little treats from everybody.” - Tanya, WIC
“The best thing is seeing him carry around his toy and try to find somebody to interact with. There’s no way you can be sad when he brings you a toy half the size of him, drops it at your foot, and wants you to give him a scratch. When you scratch him, he puts all of his weight on you. If you’re having a bad day, you can go see him and he puts a little spark back into your afternoon.” - Sarah, Environmental Health
