​K-12 School Personnel


The New Philadelphia City Health Department will be working with schools inside the city limits. New Philadelphia City Schools estimated percent vaccinated of personnel vaccinated 69.4%*. Starlight School estimated percent vaccinated of personnel vaccinated 68%*. 

Due to the limited number of vaccines, a random generator from an alphabetized list of districts was utilized to determine the order of district's vaccination.

The districts will be vaccinated as follows:
  1. Garaway - Scheduled with the district for (first dose) February 1 and (second dose) March 2, 2021. Estimated percent of personnel vaccinated 62%*
  2. Claymont - Scheduled with the district for (first dose) February 9 and (second dose) March 9, 2021. Estimated percent of personnel vaccinated 57%*
  3. Tusky Valley - Scheduled with the district (first dose) February 16 and (second dose) March 17, 2021. Estimated percent of personnel  vaccinated 69%*
  4. Newcomerstown - Scheduled with the district (first dose) February 17 and (second dose) March 19, 2021. Estimated percent of personnel vaccinated 61%*
  5. Dover City - Selected alternate provider. Estimated percent of personnel to be vaccinated 67%*
  6. Strasburg - Scheduled with the district (first dose) February 23 and (second dose) March 24, 2021. Estimated percent of personnel to be vaccinated 64%* 
  7. Indian Valley​​ - Scheduled with the district (first dose) March 3 and (second dose) March 31, 2021. Estimated percent of personnel to be vaccinated 42%* ​

If you are a K-12 school employee in Tuscarawas County who missed the vaccine day for your district, you may sign up to receive a vaccine by appointment at TCHD.
